The Yeppoon Swans are one of Central Queensland's leading community AFL clubs, bringing together players, families and supporters from Yeppoon, Emu Park, Rockhampton and across the Capricorn Coast.



Our club is built on participation, respect, teamwork and community. Whether you're kicking a football for the very first time or returning to the game after years away, our experienced coaches and friendly members will help you feel at home.

Thinking of playing?

Auskick

For ages under 7's. Introduce your child to AFL through fun games & activities designed to build confidence, coordination & a love of sport. NAB AFL Auskick is perfect for kids learning the game for the 1st time.

Juniors

For ages under 7's to under 12's. Our junior football program focuses on skill development, teamwork and having fun. Players learn the fundamentals of AFL in a positive and supportive environment while making new friends.

Youth

For ages under 13's, through to under 17's. As players grow, so does their football. Our youth program develops game awareness, fitness, leadership and teamwork while preparing players for senior football.

Seniors

Whether you're an experienced footballer or completely new to AFL, our senior teams welcome players of all abilities. Enjoy competitive football, great mateship & an outstanding club culture.

Have questions about joining the Yeppoon Swans? Here are answers to some of the questions we're asked most often.

Do I need experience to play AFL?

Not at all. We welcome complete beginners through to experienced players. Our coaches create a supportive environment where everyone can learn, improve and enjoy the game regardless of experience.

What ages can play at the Yeppoon Swans?

We offer football programs for children through NAB AFL Auskick, junior and youth teams, plus senior men's and women's football. There's a pathway for players from their first kick through to adult competition.

How do I register to play?

Simply click the Register button on our website and complete your online registration. If you're unsure which program is right for you, contact us and we'll happily point you in the right direction

Can I volunteer if I'm not a player?

Absolutely. Many of our volunteers are parents, grandparents or community members who simply enjoy helping local sport. There are plenty of ways to get involved both on and off the field.
