Our Code of Conduct explain the standards of behaviour expected from everyone involved with the club. They help ensure that junior, youth and senior football at Yeppoon Swans is welcoming, enjoyable and aligned with the values of our club and the wider Australian football community.

The Yeppoon Swans Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected across our club, including players, coaches, officials, volunteers, parents, guardians and supporters. It promotes respect, sportsmanship, inclusion and positive behaviour, helping ensure our club remains a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment both on and off the field.

It covers social media, messaging platforms and other digital communication relating to the Swans, with clear expectations around respect, inclusion, cyberbullying and inappropriate conduct.

Why does Yeppoon Swans have Codes of Conduct?
Our Codes of Conduct establish clear and consistent expectations for everyone involved with the club.
They are designed to:
- promote respect, inclusion and good sportsmanship;
- protect the wellbeing of players, volunteers, officials and supporters;
- create a positive environment for junior, youth and senior football;
- encourage responsible behaviour on and off the field; and
- protect the reputation and values of the Yeppoon Swans Football Club.
Who needs to follow the Codes of Conduct?
The relevant Codes of Conduct apply to junior and youth players, senior players, parents, guardians, family members and other supporters representing or participating in the Yeppoon Swans Football Club community.
When do the Codes of Conduct apply?
The Codes apply during training, matches, carnivals, club functions, presentations, travel, online communication and other activities connected with Yeppoon Swans.
What should I do if I have a question or concern?
Questions about the Codes of Conduct or concerns regarding behaviour should be raised through the appropriate Yeppoon Swans club contact or committee representative.
By participating in Yeppoon Swans activities, players and supporters are expected to understand and follow the Code of Conduct relevant to their role.
